**About this Role**:
As a part time House Warden, you will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the House, to include the security and reporting of repairs. You will also provide assistant and support to House residents when needed, and facilitate social interaction to include regular coffee mornings and social events. You are there to promote good communication between the residents, local community, and Remus.

**Some Responsibilities and Goals you’ll own**:
**Customer Service**
- Maintain the highest levels of customer service by ensuring regular contact is made between the residents and Remus.
- Attempt to foster relationships with the residents and their families to ensure their wellbeing takes priority.
- Foster relationships with the contractors and visitors to the House.

**Day to Day - Building Management**
- Note, report on, in a timely manner, the standard and condition of the House.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained by carrying out and recording appropriate safety checks, such as weekly testing of the fire alarm and emergency lighting.
- Undertake minor basic maintenance tasks such as changing of lights bulbs, sweeping external areas, litter picking and adjusting bins so they are available for use and collection.
- Manage the cleaners and contractors’ attendance, ensuring contractors are undertaking scheduled works safely in accordance with health and safety procedures.
- Manage the Lounge facilities, ensuring the room is always well presented.
- Take reasonable steps to ensure that communal doors and windows have not been left open or unlocked and that residents are aware of the need for security.

**Social Care**
- Facilitate and promote social events and gatherings, including regular coffee mornings.
- Ensure seasonal decorations are in place and social events are tailored to the resident’s needs.
- Be alert of the needs of each resident and take appropriate action to liaise with support provides such as GP’s and health services when visiting the House.
- Ensure next-of-kin details are kept up to date for all residents.
- Promote the wellbeing of residents. The House Warden should not provide nursing care.

**Must Have Skills**:

- Confidential, compassionate, and caring with excellent communication skills.
- Have excellent organisational skills.
- Able to treat the House as if it were their own and be proud and passionate about the resident’s wellbeing and ensure that the House is presented to a high standard at all times.
- Smart and well presented at all times.
- Experience of working in a similar role.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
