In July 22, Integrated Care Systems (ICS) were set up across the country, in which all partners involved in the health and social care of citizens work together to improve the health outcomes of our population. This means addressing health inequalities across the population and helping people to remain fit and healthy. The ICS therefore brings together partners from health and social care, primary and secondary care and physical and mental health. These systems are led by Integrated Care Boards (ICB).

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join as Associate Director - Strategic Analytics. Already operating successfully in a similar role and environment you will relish the opportunity to be responsible for all aspects of planning, management, performance and delivery of the full range of Business Intelligence Services across the ICB.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented and committed team and shape, develop and deliver a system-wide strategy.

The post holder will support and provide professional advice to the ICB on Business Intelligence and Population Health Intelligence as required. They will be responsible and accountable for the management and development of Business Intelligence Information systems across the organisation, and support to ICS partners.

This role will play a key role supporting the work of the ICB and the Executive Team with responsibility for the Population Health Intelligence agenda for the ICB. The successful applicant will undertake a key leadership role in this agenda working with the Director of Digital, Data and Technology and other Directors in supporting the work of the Population Health Programme and the provision of BI, analysis and management information to all functions.

In addition this role will have corporate responsibility for the planning, management, performance and delivery of the full range of Business Intelligence Services for the ICB and providing services to customers across our geography including; Data Processing, Data Warehousing, Application Development, Reporting, Analytical and advisory support. They will also deputise for the Director Digital, Data and Technology as and when required.

The postholder is directly accountable to Director of Digital, Data and Technology for the following:

- Responsible for establishing a unified data resources, standards and associated analytical tools and approaches to support Population Health Management and development of longitudinal data sets
- Responsible for delivering an operationally effective system planning, analytics and reporting systems and reports
- Responsible for ensuring that the ICB and its component teams have accurate and accessible information to inform operational and Strategic decision making.

The post holder will also lead the corporate function of Business Intelligence team working both at ICB level and with intelligence leads across the ICS.
