An exciting new career opportunity has arisen to join our team of residential support staff with Calderdale Council. You will be working within Children and Young People’s Services, caring for young people across our children’s home’s.

This role provides an exciting opportunity for motivated, passionate, invested, open minded and adaptable individuals capable of working to a high standard, under pressure and contributing to a fast-paced dynamic evolving service that is focused on making a positive difference, sincerely invested in being the difference for young people and offering the best deal.

We are looking to appoint Casual Residential Support Workers to assist in supporting young people with their emotional, physical, social, education and leisure needs, as well as becoming a positive role model working part of a team in supporting & caring for our young people.

You will also need to have IT skills to be able to maintain records and have a flexible approach and be available to cover shifts including evenings, weekends and school and public holidays. No Experience required as training and support will be provided.
