**About the role**
- To be the first point of contact for our members and deliver an exceptional customer service.
- To ensure customer needs are met through the delivery of a high-quality service and by promoting the Society’s products and services.
- Saturday’s, 9am to 12pm (3 hours a week). In addition to these hours, you may be required to work additional hours during the local school holiday periods.
- Based at our Halesworth Branch, Halesworth, Suffolk IP19 8AR.

**Your day-to-day activities**
- To communicate and promote products and services in accordance with branch sales plans.
- Provide appropriate referrals to ensure we help Members with their financial needs and uphold the Society’s service standards.
- To gather market feedback from customers and report via survey(s).
- To ensure that all administration duties are performed accurately and in accordance with Society procedures.
- To effectively process all transactions ensuring no errors are made and that the till balances at the end of each day.
- To comply at all times with statutory and non-statutory regulatory requirements.
- To maintain the standards of competence as outlined in VIP appraisal.
- To understand the Society’s Risk Management Framework, act openly and transparently at all times by raising incident reports where errors occur.
- To ensure that processes and procedures are followed at all times and challenged where they are thought to be deficient.
- To escalate risk incidents in line with the Society’s escalation matrix.

**About you**

**As a Saturday Member Assistant you will**:

- Have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Enjoy taking ownership of your work and working within a team
- Preferably have 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English at Grades A-C or equivalent
- Have a keen eye for detail
