**Job Introduction**

As a **Customer Service Specialist/ STAR Expert**, you will be an ambassador for one of the world’s leading brands working for a global company. You will guide the customer through their journey as the first point of contactin the dealership, helping them to understand the benefits of the Mercedes-Benz brand.

You will offer non-pressurised advice and provide support with any technical questions. **Don’t worry if you don’t have previous automotive experience as this is not essential; full training will be provided.**You will receive excellent training from both Mercedes Benz and Inchcape, which will provide you with the product knowledge, industry understanding and everything you need to ensure you are an **’expert’** in all things Mercedes-Benz.

Above all, you will be proud to represent Inchcape Mercedes-Benz, and you will get great satisfaction from helping customers who share your passion for the brand.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Proactively approaching customers in the showroom to offer help and advice
- Proactively supporting customers through Online Showroom processes
- Providing customers with relevant information on all Mercedes-Benz products and services available through the retailer including aftersales
- Responsible for keeping up to date with the latest Mercedes Benz product information
- Planning and managing the test drive process with the sales executive and offering product insight during the test drive around the customer requirements
- Understanding where the customers are in their journey and assessing their needs and requirements, with a view to passing any relevant information onto the sales executive/manager, keeping the customer experience smooth at all times
- Making sure that the showroom is always presentable for customers at all times
- Working closely with After Sales colleagues to provide an excellent vehicle hand-over experience for our customers
- Responsible for customer connectivity to the Mercedes Benz digital platform
- Involvement in showroom and launch events

**Skills & Experience Required**
- Ability to provide a first class customer service with energy and enthusiasm
- Previous experience in a customer environment would be preferable but not essential
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Understanding of digital and social media
- A passion for helping customers and an eagerness to share that passion with others
- Ability to work autonomously, whilst still having a team-oriented way of working
- Always keen to help and support others
