Young Somerset have vacancies for **Assistant Practitioners** within our Mental Health and Wellbeing Team.

Our Assistant Practitioners play an active role in the Mental Health and Wellbeing team supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people with emotional and mental health needs to rise above life’s challenges, build resilience, achieve positive and sustainable outcomes. This is all achieved through non-clinical work within a supportive team.

What does a typical day look like for an Assistant Practitioner?

Very varied The role includes some administration tasks to help support the wider team, running and assisting with groups, meeting and greeting children, young people, parents and professionals at networking events and above all ensuring the voice of the child and young person is heard.

**Salary**: £22,183 -£23,080

**Hours**: 37 hours per week

**Contract**: Permanent

**Start Date**: As soon as possible

**Closing Date**: 1pm Wednesday 22nd February 2023

**Expected interview date**: Friday 3rd March 2023

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,183.00-£23,080.00 per year
