**We have a great opportunity to join our Education team as a Cover Trainer for Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Lancaster Farms.**

**The vision for the Education, Skills, and Work provision at HMP Feltham** **is to ensure that Prisoners in our care realise their full potential through Education, Skills and Work.**

**This cover trainer role is specialised in the following areas: Catering, Motor Mechanics, Joinery, Painting and Decorating is offered on a flexible basis, working various hours across a variety of sites (HMP Lancaster Farms, HMP Haverigg, HMP Kirkham, HMP Preston, HMP Wymott) once commitments at HMP Lancaster Farms have concluded.**

**What the role entails**

As a Trainer you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality, learner-focused education to meet contractual requirements and standards, in line with Novus policies and procedures, supporting learners and colleagues alike to ensure the best outcome for all who work within our sector.

**What we need from you**

To be successful in the role of Cover Trainer, you will need:

- Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
- Gain/hold and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check

Ideally, you will want to be a part of a team which has at its core a focus on improving lives and enabling and equipping learners to develop, grow and be equipped for a life of work and success. You will be a self-starter with a passion to learn and grow yourself and will bring passion, dedication, and positivity to your new role.
