Yard Labourer

Danny's Event Catering are recruiting a Yard Labourer.

This role will be dynamic with much of your time spent working closely with the Yard & Maintenance Manager's respectively. It is expected in the Yard Manager's absence that you can work effectively & efficiently off your own initiative. No two days are the same in this role & you will be complimenting an already excellent team, providing you with an opportunity to easily integrate.
- **Duties**_
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment from trucks
- Operate forklifts and other machinery to move materials within the yard
- Organize and maintain inventory of materials and supplies
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols
- Perform general maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and repairing equipment
- **Requirements**_
- Previous experience working in a similar role preferred. Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Note: This position may require working outdoors in various weather conditions.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £8.39-£11.00 per hour
