**Job Title: Electrical Assembler**

**Location: St Athan**

**Pay Rate**: £26,000 - £30,000 P/A

**Contract**: Permanent

**Shifts**:
Monday - Friday

8:00am - 4.30pm

**Please Note for this position you must hold a Valid passport and Driving License**

gap personnel Cardiff, are looking for a experienced Electrical Assembler to join a Global company based in St Athan.

The role involves varied assembly work where quality is highly valued; you are given the opportunity to develop your skills working with our exciting and technologically advanced rugged IT products, for use in demanding environments.

**Duties and knowledge**:

- Assembly of electrical products.
- Contribute to improvements in our production environment, to work as efficiently and effectively as possible.
- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time
- Knowledge of various computer Operating Systems.
- Previous experience of using test software / programming tools
- Soldering

**Experience**:

- Technical education and work experience from assembly or similar technology / electronics related manufacturing.
- Mechanical and technical skills, with good hands-on ability.
- Good soldering technique.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Team-player and social skills; comfortable working in a team or independently.
- A positive mindset.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to read technical work instructions, manuals and technical drawings.
- Prepared to if necessary, visit and attend training at Head Office in Sweden.
- Willing to undergo and pass UK security vetting.
