To ensure that all inbound and outbound deliveries are planned, accurately scheduled and confirmed in line with company requirements, goods-receiving and outbound capacity, and the resource plan.

To act as the interface between vendors, customers, the Warehouse operations in multiple countries and the Commercial teams and provide administration support to all warehousing operations

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Plan and schedule the company global inbound and outbound operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, customers, vendors, logistics providers, and transportation companies, always ensuring all relevant documentation is in place
- Manage the inbound purchase order book plan and ensure carriers meet agreed booking slots by maintaining accurate purchase order ETA’s based on vendor updates. This includes confirmation status updates in SAP
- Utilise system tools such as EDI where possible to reduce manual input ensuring WMS and SAP alignment
- Understand the current import and export shipping market, the services each Freight Forwarder has to offer and how it will benefit the business
- Deliver solutions to inbound and outbound logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements
- The planning and coordination of all inbound and outbound transport service providers in line with operational requirements. This includes liaising with named hauliers to ensure transport is booked and confirmed. This will include interaction with freight management systems (portals)
- Optimise inbound and outbound freight routes via consolidation and use of appropriate partners to ensure import and export compliance
- Resolve inbound and outbound delivery and audit queries, always ensuring relevant stakeholders are aware and are provided with regular progress updates
- Ensure inbound and outbound volumes are planned in collaboration with the purchasing teams, vendors, customers, carriers and distribution partners including warehouse operations and the stock control team
- Provide the necessary administrative support to warehouse operations. This includes the production of inbound and outbound documentation, the release of pick notes and the processing of end-of-day activities.
- Maintain integrity of stock inventory accuracy and proactively manage stock movements within the organisation
- Identify and resolve any stock inventory discrepancies and ensure WMS inventory and SAP system records are in alignment
- Provide meaningful logistics data and KPI reports to key stakeholders in the organisation to aid customer service and cost improvements
