We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards

We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by **investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development.** We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.

This an exciting opportunity for caring, compassionate and talented support workers in Maryport, to work within an established service, supporting 4 people. This service will be supporting people with learning disabilities and is a great opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of others.

Seaview is a 3 story home with lovely gardens, overlooking the Solway coast It lies within a quiet village and the closest shops are around 8 miles away in the nearest town. They do have access to a vehicle too.

We love getting out and about from exploring local amenities to going to watch dancing on ice live We all have our own individual interests and explore these independently with assistance from staff as well as spending time out together. We are a mixed bunch, ranging in how out going we are and how much of a social battery we have We get along with people who are laid back and enjoy helping us to achieve our aspirations.

**Our staff team work a three shift rota including: early shift; 8am - 3.30pm, late shift; 2.30pm - 10pm and night shift; 10on - 8am. We usually have at least two staff on shift during the day and one on at night. Full training would be given to anyone who joins our staff team to ensure they can support us.**

**Your values**:
We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience. This is why **we're really passionate about recruiting to individuals’ values **and **we recruit people from all walks of life**; From people with vast experience in a support worker or care assistant role, from people with lived experiences who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to people with no experience at all.
