- Thursday 8.30-5.00 Friday 8.30-12.30 - Can be flexible (Can accommodate a x4 day working week)**

We are currently looking to recruit for a Production Planner to work closely with the production Manager and be responsible for planning efficient production schedules daily

**Main responsibilities**:

- To develop a daily and weekly production plan for all products which will meet customer requirements and stock level targets
- As a planner you will have responsibility for the creation and communication of production plans.
- To ensure that all products are scheduled allowing amply time for dispatch & in accordance to specific out load times.
- To forecast and maintain files for all stock items.
- To liaise with customers on availability, e.g. shortages or excess stock on hand
- Maintain positive customer relations through customer order management, and appropriate monitoring of supply base
- Communicate requirements with customers to ensure on time delivery
- Generate & update daily/weekly reporting & identify trends requiring action
- Maintain master data Required

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a Production Planner role
- High competence in Microsoft Excel, experience using Sage would be an advantage
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Have a high level of Accuracy with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
