**JOB SUMMARY**:
As a Copywriter, you'll use your creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills to develop written pieces that are clear, succinct, and engaging. You will assist CDW UK's marketing and communications activities by planning, generating, and publishing relevant, high-impact messages for internal and external audiences.

You will be working with multiple stakeholders to create content for digital and offline marketing. The role will be expected to work on content that will incorporate business and technology messaging for CDW and our strategic partners.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Optimise content for SEO using best practices and by researching keywords, hashtags, and trending topics.
- Tailor content and style of individual writing assignments to persuade or inform the audience based on their customer journey, persona, and industry.
- Develop messaging for CDW Corporate communications, consistent with CDW’s brand identity.
- Understand and translate complex technical information into compelling, effective, and succinct copy.
- Conduct high-quality research and interviews to understand the target audience, to formulate ideas and generate creative content.
- Support in proofing and editing copy as required.
- Ensure compliancy with corporate identity and tone of voice.
- Interpret copywriting briefs to determine requirements. Present copy concepts, final deliverables with deadlines to the marketing team.
- Modify and amend copy from feedback.
- Work collaboratively with the designers to ensure the design fits the copy requirements.
- Be a guardian of the CDW brand.

**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Experience of creating content for technology industry
- Copywriting experience, preferably in journalism or a content Marketing role
- Highly proficient with grammar and punctuation
- Experience in creating technical content for commercial use.
- Experienced in researching content themes, audiences, and trending topics.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
