**JOB TITLE**:Sales Executive - Immediate start

**LOCATION**:Ilminster - due to location you will need to be a driver

**SALARY:starting salary of** £22,000 PA (with the potential to earn an additional performance related bonus of up to £500 per quarter)

**HOURS**:Monday - Friday, 8:30am till 5:00pm

**THE COMPANY**: You will be joining an established and specialist company who produce high spec products.

**THE ROLE**:Working within the internal sales team, taking incoming sales enquiries from customers and converting to orders, promoting products and services to both new and existing customers via outbound calls and account managing regionalcustomers.

**KEY DUTIES**:

- Actively promote products via the telephone and generating sales opportunities
- Planning and prioritising customer/prospect contacts to sure achievement of agreed sales targets
- Managing regional customer accounts, and building professional working relationships to ensure generation of future sales
- Handling and processing inbound sale enquiries and ensuring conversion rate at first call meets set conversion targets
- Responsible for making outbound calls to lapsed customers and prospective clients
- Maintaining the required volume of outbound calls and maintaining agreed standards of response rates on incoming calls
- Contributing towards achievement of Sales targets by way of meeting and/or exceeding set targets, objectives and expectations
- Promoting all products ranges and services to maximise client spend
- Closing down lost enquiries effectively
- Working on own initiative and providing customers with a quick response to problem solve any potential issues that could prevent a sale.
- Escalating sales opportunities to the Area Sales Manager or Business Development Manager
- Generating potential leads from new/dormant customers and pass to the Area Sales Manager
- Developing strong relationships with existing clients to upsell and promote our product line
- Update all aspects of customer records to maintain quality databases
- Understand customer account status and where necessary, liaise with Accounts on any credit control issues impacting the delivery of sales orders
- Take payment details for cash sales orders and process cash transactions
- Pro-active communication with external sales staff and management to maximise sales leads and opportunities

**KEY SKILLS**:

- Proven experience working within an office role, ideally within customer service, contact centres or sales
- Strong IT skills with knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
- Confident and polite telephone manner
- Prior experience meeting targets and KPI's as an induvial and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and listening skills
