**About us**

**We are currently recruiting for Engineers to join Ocado's state-of-the-art automated Customer Fulfilment Centre, which is 563,000 square feet and boasts world leading technology that is predominantly developed in-house at Ocado. At full capacity we will be fulfilling over 200,000 customer orders a week from Erith, which requires 24/7 operation and a dedicated team of Engineers and Technicians.**

**About the role**

**As an Engineer you will play an important part in supporting the operation, by providing 1st response to engineering fault conditions, reactive and planned maintenance activities as well as proactive improvement works. You will also be undertaking the day to day reactive and planned engineering maintenance activities and improvement works at the CFC on MHE such as conveyor networks, lifts, cranes, belts etc**

**About you**

**You will be working as a time served engineer with experience of both reactive and preventative maintenance. You will have some form of formal engineering qualification (apprentice served, NVQ, HNC or equiv). You will have some electrical engineering experience preferably within a FMCG or fast paced environment. This role involves working at height using a variety of access equipment, so technicians need to be comfortable working at heights.**

**This role will require flexibility due to us being a 24/7 operation and a shift pattern will be put in place that will require working days,nights and weekends.**
