**Roaming Events Server**

This really is an exciting opportunity to join the Flat Cap team as part of our service team as a Roaming Events Server, in our group of boutique hotels inclusive of bars, restaurants and corporate space. **General description of your role**:
To support events at The Courthouse and our other venues by providing excellent customer service and ensuring events run smoothly and in line with the high standards of our guests. You will be responsible for serving at weddings, christenings, celebrations of life, comedy nights and a whole host of other events. You will need to be comfortable taking customer orders and delivering food and beverages, making menu recommendations, answering questions and sharing additional information with events patrons.

**About you**

The experience and knowledge we are looking for from our Roaming EventsServers;
- Previous experience of serving as small and large scale events.
- Confident and outgoing with a passion for food and drink.
- Obsessed with delivering amazing customer experiences.
- Flexible to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends as events dictate.
- Organised and able to work under time pressures.
- Ability to take ownership and initiative.
- Ability to manage and effectively deal with complaints.
- Must have own transport or the ability to easily commute between the current Flat Cap Sites.

**What’s Involved?**

**_ Roaming Events Server:_**
- Being able to work in events across the estate as and when needed.
- Take and serve food and drink orders.
- Have complete knowledge of all items on our menus and suggest menu items where appropriate.
- Upsell additional products where appropriate.
- Provide excellent customer service to all our guests.
- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses.
- Communicate order details with the kitchen and bar teams.
- Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.
- Follow all relevant health and safety regulations.
