The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is responsible for welfare, pensions, and child maintenance policy. **The role**:
The role of the Digital Practice Support Manager is a key enabler for building engagement and role identity across the Engineering Community of Practice. You will work closely with the Head of Practice, Heads of Role, the wider Practice Support Team, Central Teams, and suppliers to:

- Play an active role in the delivery of a programme of engagement activities aimed at encouraging the community to grow, share and develop their experience, skills and knowledge across the practice. This includes developing and delivering well-written and engaging communications to a diverse audience, as well as organising practice-wide and job-family specific events.
- Track and monitor the Engineering contract for specialist external resources, facilitating the approval of requests and maintaining an accurate view of resource performance.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of strategic outcomes for the Practice, including ownership of deliverables which underpin the four Practice Plan objectives (Capacity, Capability, Comms & Engagement and Excellence)
- Contribute to the overall Digital Practice Support community, driving and leading opportunities to share knowledge and develop a strong community presence.

**As a (job title) your main responsibilities will be**:

- Proactively identify story ideas and content from within and beyond the Practice.
- Support the creation and delivery of a Comms Strategy and a forward-look roadmap for community-wide and job-family specific events.
- Assess the effectiveness of internal communications on a regular basis and act on feedback received to ensure communications are accurate, timely, relevant and meet the needs of the community.
- Support all aspects of Practice event organisation, including scheduling, venue selection, content development and arranging speakers, as well as evaluation of delivery and impacting lessons learned post-event.
- Track and monitor the Engineering contract for external resource requests, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date view of requests, facilitating the appropriate decision on new requests, requesting resource performance feedback and ensuring feedback is acted upon.

**You’ll have relevant experience in**:

- Strong coms experience
- Strong communicator verbal and written
- SharePoint and awareness of different channels
- Contract management experience
