I currently have a great opportunity for a Manufacturing Sales Consultant in the aerospace and automotive industry.

Base salary Circa 35k depending on experience
Working hours Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4pm & Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm

Normally, some out of hours required whilst travelling but no fixed hours apply, minimum 37 hours.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Manufacturing Sales Consultant is the first contact of a customer to facilitate service of their account within the business in all disciplines.
- Will be responsible for business growth organic, through account management, and inorganic through marketing and market(s) development.
- Account Management and Business Development requires a high level of engagement with customers and prospective customers, personally F2F and virtually by means of web-based communication platforms, e mail and telephone. This can only be achieved by maintainingopen access to all communication channels at all times.
- Solutions to engineering problems is the service which the business offers and products which facilitate engineering solutions is what the business sells, therefore engagement with buyers who speak a technical language is part of day-to-day involvement.
- Similarly, technical matters, and account service matters are conveyed in a data heavy format, meaning that analysis of numerical and technical data in hard copy and electronic format is also a large part of daily activity. An ability to respond in thesame technical language is therefore an essential part of the role.
- Will be a representative of the business at a factory and group level and will therefore be expected to conduct and present themselves in an appropriate manner according to events.

**About you**

**Essential**
- Experience within a sales role / environment ideally working with OEM's
- Engineering industry experience ideally within the Aerospace and Automotive sectors
- Applicants should have good communication skills, and be computer literate
- Good time management and organisational skills

**Desirable**
- Prior knowledge of working with Microsoft packages - Word, Excel etc.
- Can demonstrate good numeric skills
- English language and Maths to GCSE Grade C or above
