**Job Summary**

The Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the daily operations of the customer service department. This position will be responsible for assisting patients and patients’ caregivers with answering phones, processing patient claims, and other general office duties.

**Essential Functions**:

- Answer the front desk and call in customer service inquiries, including but not limited to, billing inquiries, referring calls, and referrals.
- Ensure that all daily front-line tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude toward patients, staff, and co-workers.
- Handle customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Prepare patient charts and communicate with physicians in a professional manner.
- Communicate with physicians regarding patient status and or changes in care needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

**Education & Experience**:

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous administrative experience preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills required; ability to work as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
- Previous experience with EMR systems preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with medical terminology preferred but not required.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is required.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

**Salary**: £25,349.00-£26,192.00 per year
