People Solutions are seeking a Buyer to join their friendly team based in Birmingham B76.

This is a permanent opportunity offering a salary of £26,000.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 17.00pm

Day to Day Duties:
Review of forecasted purchase plans with nominated suppliers
Manage purchase order acknowledgement and confirmation process
Maintain accurate information in ERP system
Produce and review supplier purchase order status reports
Produce supplier Key Performance Indicators
Managing supplier performance & relationships
Provide technical and administrative support to the business for all materials purchasing
Travel to suppliers & customers where required
Reviewing FN requests daily, validating need and ensuring best use of current available stock across the group.

Essential Skills:
Procurement/supply change experience
Strong negotiation & commercial skills

Desirable Experience:

- Very good understanding of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel (advanced)
- Report writing
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Strong mathematical and IT skills
- Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy
- Good understanding of business
- Strong customer relationship skills
