Summary

If you are currently a TA2B looking for a truly exciting role where you will make a huge difference to the life chances of pupils in an area of high deprivation then a career at RAMJS is the Job for you. Not only will you be offered continued professional development, but you will also form part of a year group team, supporting across 2 classes to deliver high quality learning, interventions and life experiences for children in the Ribbleton area. As a methodist school we pride ourselves on doing ‘All we Can’ to make the world around us a better place. We require dedicated TA’s with previous experience of supporting children.

- Experience in supporting Maths and English lessons under the direction of the class teacher
- Experience of planning and delivering small group interventions
- Experience of and a desire to, work in an area of high deprivation with it’s own unique characteristics and challenges
- A desire to work in a culturally diverse setting,
- A friendly and genuine child-centred approach,
- A calm, patient and encouraging manner, with an ability to make learning engaging,
- A restorative approach to behaviour management with firm behavioural expectations built on relational practices,
- An ability to be self-motivated and manage time effectively to maximise children’s learning time.
