AWE is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Risk Specialist to join our growing team.

Location - Reading / Basingstoke Area

**Salary**: £42000 - negotiable based on experience.

You will provide specialist support to the Supply Chain Management ("SCM") function, focussing on risk identification and mitigation. You'll be given the opportunity to provide innovative solutions in a unique environment, to support an exciting and vastprogramme.

What will you be responsible for?
- Supporting on risk management tracking and methodology for the Supply Chain function;
- supporting the Supply Chain function on Company expectations for effective control of risk, becoming the Supply Chain risk lead for both internal and external stakeholders;
- developing robust mitigation and contingency planning methodology, creating suitable templates and training material to be used across the Supply Chain function; and
- taking an active role to support and represent the Supply Chain function's external relationships with the government bodies and external regulators.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for the Risk Specialist to have:

- A demonstrable track record of risk identification and management;
- being comfortable with leading on projects as required to manage and close out risk;
- working experience within a specialist role in a supply chain or procurement function in a similar organisation/industry would be beneficial, but not essential;
- being accurate in data analysis and attention to detail; and
- public sector experience would be beneficial, but not essential.
