We are currently recruiting for Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work within our client SEN school based in Chelmsford, Essex.

This school caters for pupils across primary, secondary and FE with needs including; profound and multiple learning difficulties, moderate and complex learning difficulties. They are looking for both full time and part time LSAs to join their supportiveand welcoming team of staff.

You need to be flexible, energetic, and ideally have experience of working with children with profound and complex learning difficulties and/or autism. This role could also be suitable for a graduate with an interest in pursuing a career in teaching or learningsupport. Due to the nature of the students a patient, caring and compassionate approach is needed.

What you need to know about the school:
The school support young peoples to develop their emotional wellbeing and social skills. As a Learning Support Assistant you will support the school to develop students to cope better with the things they find challenging. The successful LSA will help establishpositive and healthy relationships, emotional wellbeing and developing social skills.

The school are currently on the lookout for full time staff to work through us initially with the likelihood of a permanent contract after a specific amount of time. They are also interest in part time LSAs on an ad-hoc basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
