**Role Objectives**:
To continually improve the standard of operational training across the organisation such that all operators are trained to the appropriate standard and are competent across their whole job role.

**Key Accountabilities**:
Ensure that all Environment, Health & Safety requirements are met including (but not limited to) ensuring all training material adheres to site safety procedures.

Design and delivery of on-the-job training for production operators as necessary, including developing assessments that test both practical skills and underpinning knowledge.

Design and delivery of trainee workshops to support the new trainees to ensure they are competent within 12 - 18 months

Design, delivery and recording of the work-based element of the Production Apprenticeship programme, ensuring it meets the required standards.

Working with the Training Manager to monitor training activities across the site ensuring compliance with internal procedures and adherence to budget

Deliver effective induction programmes for all new starters

Deliver one to one and small group refresher training for existing operators

Work with the Training Manager to deliver operator development programmes to drive skill improvement

Keep up to date with developments in training techniques ensuring training material remains current and relevant

Undertake any other duties of which the responsibility, skill and experience required fall within a post holder’s expected capability and commensurate with the post holder’s position in the company.

**Key Performance Indicators**
- 100% attendance on training programmes
- Successful completion of the apprentice training programme
- Reduction in errors attributed to lack of training/skills
- Accurate recording and reporting of attendance on training and pass/fail rates
- Training all delivered on time and within budget

Demonstrable understanding of Production Operation across all Fine Organics plants

Understanding of chemical manufacture

Ability to engage an audience and explain complex chemical manufacturing processes in an understandable manner

**Salary**: £40,000.00 per year
