Passenger Assistant

We currently have 3 positions for SEN Passenger Assistants.

All Passenger Assistants must have SEN experience either through a working environment or home life. We will also consider applicants that have worked in the care sector previously.

All the children we transport are SEN children attending Fiveways or Fairmead school. Disabilities vary from route to route.

All staff are given wheelchair training and first aid traning which can be tailored to suit the children bring transported on individual routes.

We collect all our Passengers Assistants up from home and drop to home before an after each shift, so own transport is not required.

There are 2 shifts per day the morning shift approx 7am to 9.15am and 3pm to 5pm, times may vary depending on the route.

We have the following positions available.

1/ Maternity cover for initally 6 months starting 3rd January 2023

2/ 2nd Passenger Assistant required to assist on a route where 2 children have siezures so one to one travel is required. Seizure training will be given.

3/ We are also looking for a casual Passenger Assistant to cover holiday and sickness working across all routes.

This is a part time position that would suit someone happy to work split shifts and have time to thereselves between shifts.

COVID-19 considerations:
All are vehicles are cleaned thoroughly everyday and each bus has PPE which is optional
