Assistant Greenkeeper

Shifnal Golf Club is a progressive members club based in Shifnal, Shropshire. We are looking to recruit a full-time Assistant Greenkeeper to join our experienced and dynamic team.

We are seeking a greenkeeper who is highly motivated, has a keen eye for detail, and is able to work well in a team as well as independently.

Reporting to the Golf Course Manager, as part of a team of six, you will be required to prepare the course for a healthy membership and busy visitor schedule. Duties will include all elements of course maintenance to be executed to a high standard.

Desirable (not essential) qualifications:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Sports Turf Management

PA1, 2 or 6

Full-time (Average 40 hours per week)
- Driving license preferable, own transport to work essential.
- This role involves outdoor working in all weathers throughout the year with early starts.
- Rotational weekend work (2 in 5) is required (mornings only)

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
