**Job description**:
Reporting into the Product Development Leader, you will be an integral member of a small team supporting all aspects of microbiology across Azotic’s product and pipeline development teams.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Support our microbial product/pipeline development activities such as formulation assessments, stability trials, agrichemical compatibility assays and similar microbiological activities.
- Support the quality systems to implement and manage microbial product assurance within Azotic.
- Support a continuous improvement culture within the laboratory environment.
- Provide regular updates into the Microbiology Team and other senior staff.
- Work closely with the Laboratory Technician to ensure continued support of Laboratories.

**Key criteria**:

- Minimum Degree level qualification in a microbiological area such as microbiology, biotechnology or food science.
- Detail-orientated with good organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, proven collaborator with ability to work independently and to integrate well within a team.
- Balance of patience and persistence to organise your own work to provide diligent and reliable outputs.
- Proficient use of computer programs (e.g. Excel, Word).
- A self-motivated individual who thrives on success of themselves and others.
