East Calder, United Kingdom Trust-Care Full time

**Support Worker - West Lothian**

**Full day or night shifts available**
- This is one of those support roles that comes with its challenges, but it offers tremendous job satisfaction, as well as the change to build your complex needs expertise._

With our client, a leading Scottish care provider, we help a young, autistic man live as independently and enjoyably as possible, in his own accommodation.

"I am a funny, clever and talented individual who is very practical and enjoy making things with my hands. I have a particular interest in woodwork and gardening. I also enjoy photography. I am very active and enjoy football, swimming, going to gigs, or watching DVD's"

For this support worker role specifically, you will be tasked with supporting this individual with a number of interests in their day-to-day routine. You will also be responsible for carrying out general household chores, such as the laundry, washing dishes etc

We are looking for someone who is resilient and has experience working with individuals who have challenging behaviour, but most importantly... someone who is up for an adventure

Our aim is to allow our service user to live as fulfilling a life as possible, with a large focus on promoting independence. We like to keep our client busy with day trips to the cinema, outings to concerts or organised fun inhouse activities to keep everybody entertained

We are currently offering a range of shift options and flexible work patters, that will allow you to fit your work around your personal commitments. We appreciate that work is not the be all and end all, so the last thing we want is our staff to have poor work life balance.

If this sounds like the right position for you, simply click APPLY NOW, or alternatively, you can give us a call on 0131 539 9339 to discuss in more detail.

Oh, one last thing to make sure you will be the right fit

- **Respect and dignity** - Our staff are amazing, and we want to make sure that never changes. With that in mind, we provide the best training & support possible to keep them at their best.

- **Experienced - **Due to our professionalism, this is a risk-free environment. We never put our staff/clients in a position that we wouldn’t put ourselves in.
- **Reliable - **You are a care professional, so we treat you as such. You don’t need to be concerned about future work or problems with pay, we’ve got your back. We want you to focus on what you do best.
