We are looking for a motivated ward clerk to join our multi-disciplinary team in Older Persons Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC).

Older Persons SDEC is a busy environment that accepts patients from the emergency department, GP's, community partners and ambulance services for same day urgent holistic assessment of medical and functional status.

There is also an element of ward follow up and expected booked patients for which you will be responsible for making the appointments and ensuring appropriate transport arrangements.

You will be willing to assist the team managing those who have a degree of cognitive and sensory impairment, thus we are looking for a patient, compassionate and caring individual who thrives working as part of a team and is also confident to work autonomously.

Service provision
- Monday to Friday 0800- 2000. However, there is the aim for this to expand to cover a seven-day/Bank holiday service in line with national targets.

**Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital**

**Interview Date: TBC
