**Job Title: Warehouse Assistant**
**Department: Warehouse**
**Responsible to: Head of Department**

**Hours: 40 over a 5-day week Monday to Friday**

**The Role Summary**
This role would suit an individual with technical skills within the lighting industry specifically with cable and mains distribution. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to the procedures laid out. Good interpersonal skills are required to communicate effectively with customers and the technical services team. Knowledge of electrical and electronic devices would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that all equipment is repaired and serviced to the high standard of quality White Light requires.
- Follow the paperwork procedures laid out and adhere to the processing system.
- Help when necessary, with all general workshop duties including, but not restricted to, loading & unloading of vehicles, tidying up, manufacture of custom equipment & general assistance of other warehouse teams.
- Repair, service customer and White Light equipment onsite as required.
- Deal with customers directly on any technical or logístical enquiry as requested.
- Assist other departments as necessary and reasonably practicable.
- Work with the technical services team and other White Light teams and to communicate effectively.
- Generate business for the company and promote customer satisfaction.
- Represent the Company in a courteous and appropriate manner in any dealings with customers.
- Resolve any issues arising with colleagues in a professional manner.
- Follow correct procedures at all times and to follow the policies laid out in the staff handbook.
- Ensure that Health and Safety Guidelines are adhered to at all times.
- Maintain and enhance the quality of the White Light service & ensure good customer satisfaction.
- Be prepared to work long hours when required to

**Technical Skills**
- Previous experience of mains and distribution an advantage
- General understanding/awareness of in house procedures

- Deadline conscious - highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multi-task managing a challenging workload and meet strict deadlines

**Salary**: £22,984.00-£23,500.00 per year
