**Social Media Specialist**

You will be responsible for creating all forms of social media content that will be posted on various social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, and YouTube.

**Essential Skills**:

- **Video Recording/Editing**:Creating and editing videos for social media, including shorter clips for platforms like Instagram and TikTok, and longer ones for platforms like YouTube.
- **Content Creation**:Ability to create engaging, shareable content that's tailored to various social platforms.
- **Image Creation**:Knowledge of tools and software to create unique images that stand out and attract attention.
- **Copywriting**:Crafting compelling messages, headlines, and calls to action.
- **Graphic Design**:Basic knowledge of design tools to create visually appealing posts.
- **Photography**:Ability to take high-quality photos for use on social media.
- **Strategy Planning**:Understand how to develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy.
- **Community Management**:Ability to engage with users, respond to comments, and build a community.
- **Analytics**:Understanding and interpreting social media metrics to assess campaign performance and make adjustments as needed.
- **Trend Awareness**:Staying updated with the latest social media trends and platform updates.
- **Brand Awareness**:Maintaining consistent brand messaging across all social platforms.
- **Multimedia Production Skills**:Basic knowledge of video, live streaming, podcasting can be beneficial as these formats continue to grow in popularity on social media.
- **Time Management**:Balancing a variety of tasks, scheduling content, and meeting deadlines.
- **A/B Testing**:Ability to conduct A/B tests to determine best performing posts and campaigns.
- **Understanding of Audience Behavior**:Ability to analyze audience behavior to better tailor content and strategy.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of social media experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise duties.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:
