**The College
Oxford International College Brighton is an international day and boarding school opening in Ovingdean, Brighton in August 2023. The College is a new addition to Nord Anglia’s world-class international network of schools and is located in an impressive campus which preserves historical buildings among brand new facilities.

**The Role**

OIC Brighton is looking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic and highly capable individual to lead our administrative team, which will grow with the College. The Senior Administrator will support the Principal and work closely with support staff, teaching staff, parents and visitors and will often be the first point of contact for visitors to the College. Prior to opening and during the College’s early phase, the role will of necessity require flexibility and a willingness to support and adapt, with scope to work in a more senior and specific capacity as the College grows.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

The duties are broadly in the following three main areas, and the below should be taken as an indication of the tasks required in each of these areas, rather than an exhaustive list of expectations:
**Reception**
- Welcoming visitors to the College, ensuring they are well cared-for and that the reception area is well maintained
- Responding to parent and Guardian queries regarding our students
- Working closely with the Admissions and Marketing team in handling enquiries and visits
- Liaising with staff in the provision of pastoral support and in communicating with parents
- Helping staff and students with administrative matters such as arranging appointments and transport
- Managing room bookings and visitors’ appointments
- Supporting grounds staff in ensuring that the site is secure and procedures for visitors on site are followed
- Deal with incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and couriers

**Administrative Support**
- Ensure that admissions and current student records are accurately maintained and updated using the College’s management information system (ISAMS)
- Support the Super Curricular Manager in the set-up of events and activities for example through bookings, parental permissions and arrangements for visiting speakers
- Act as a point of contact for contractors and support staff including construction site, catering, maintenance and cleaning services
- Managing stock of stationery and other day-to-day consumables
- Monitor and record students’ attendance and follow up absences;
- Create and maintain tables and reports including mailing lists and other student database information required by teaching and support staff
- Provide administrative support as required including document preparation, photocophyng, printing, information collection and report creating

**Knowledge and Experience**
- Evidence of excellent IT and administrative skills is essential.
- Excellent and up-to-date understanding of MS Office including Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams is essential.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills are essential.
- Knowledge of ISAMS or equivalent management information systems is desirable.
- Experience of working in a school is desirable.
- Experience of working with international students and families is desirable.

**Working Hours**

This is a full-time, permanent role.

Normal working hours are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 9am-12 midday on Saturdays during term time.

**Salary**

The salary for this position will be dependent on experience.
