**Health and Safety Consultant**

Our client is seeking a dedicated H&S professional to join their small, dynamic team as a Health and Safety Consultant to deliver consultancy and training services to a diverse clientele across various industries in the Yorkshire area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Develop risk assessments, policies, procedures, and induction materials.
- Deliver a range of training courses, from toolbox talks to formal accredited courses (e.g., IOSH, Nebosh).
- Communicate effectively and build relationships with clients.
- Provide pragmatic solutions and ongoing support.
- Contribute to maintaining best practice standards and ensuring a safe environment.
- Produce reports, action plans, and recommendations.
- Assist in the delivery of training sessions.
- Collaborate on creating written Safety, Health, and Environmental materials.

**Requirements**:

- NEBOSH Diploma, NVQ Level 6, or equivalent.
- TechIOSH or working towards it.
- Minimum 2 years Health & Safety experience in construction
- Proven ability to deliver Health & Safety training.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with conducting risk assessments and audits.
- Adaptable and capable of providing various services within reasonable timeframes.
- Proficient literacy and IT skills.
- Driving licence
