LAT or LAS Dental Core Trainee 2 (DCT2) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

The department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery has an exciting opportunity and seek to recruit DCT 2 post. This post is based at Morriston Hospital Swansea but also has sessions Princess of Wales Hospital Bridgend.

The Oral and Maxillofacial department at Morriston Hospital is one of the largest and busiest in the United Kingdom serving a population of 1.25 million. A wide range of Oral and Maxillofacial services are carried out including head and neck surgery and reconstruction, cleft lip and palate surgery, orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial trauma, salivary gland surgery, cutaneous malignancy and dentoalveolar surgery. The post will also involve Paediatric Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

The Oral and Maxillofacial department is an integrated department based at Morriston Hospital and also serving Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend _. _All emergency and inpatient elective work take place at the Morriston Hospital. All other work is undertaken on either site.

Morriston Hospital has been designated by the Welsh Assembly Government as the centre for cleft care in South Wales.
