My Client is looking for an Event Executive to assist in the planning and staging of UK and International Events.

Main duties -Event Operations
- Fully managing all sponsorship, exhibition, and venue logistics for all clients within the Events Team.
- Being the main contact for all event logistics suppliers, exhibition contractors and venues, providing event information to ensure events are carried out to a high standard, including Health & Safety
- Act as the main contact for all sponsors, exhibitors, and their agencies for all industry activities at conferences including (but not exclusive to) exhibition stands, satellite symposia, hospitality suites and additional meetings.
- Liaising with Event Managers and Commercial Sales Team to ensure all venue, sponsorship and exhibition management activities are running to schedule and budget, and provide excellent customer service to the client’s industry partners
- Supporting client on sponsorship and exhibition sales on smaller client events as advised
- Working with the Head of Events on the bid processes for each client with venues/host cities
- Managing the Budget for Venue and supplier costs

Ideal Background
- A minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a previous events/agency/society role covering Event Operations as an Event Executive (highly desirable)
- Experience in conference Event Operations covering venue, logistics
- Very good interpersonal skills, in terms of dealing with clients, staff and suppliers
- Very good time management skills and demonstrative ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads
- Very good IT skills in particular a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Highly organised, confident and well-presented with a real passion for delivering impeccable events
- Ability to represent the company/client with a calm, professional and efficient image onsite
- Demonstrates a 'can do’ positive attitude, and is willing to go the extra mile to help themselves and others deliver in their role
- Appropriately investigates problems, situations or opportunities to enhance understanding and provide suggested solutions
- Users' proficiency in their own field and detailed knowledge of departments’ activities contribute to the achievement of team or department objectives
- A tech-savvy: reasonable knowledge related to audio-visual and other technical equipment
- An independent thinker who has confidence in their ability
- Excellent spoken and written English
- A willingness to travel overseas as per operational requirements
