**The Opportunity**:
Do you have experience within Freight, Shipping, Import or Export Documentation? If you enjoy administration and would like a role as a Freight Administrator in a busy shipping and export department of a busy manufacturing busy in Exeter, then this could be the perfect role. There is opportunity for progression with the team and this could be a great role for you as a Freight Administrator supporting extremely knowledgeable colleagues.

**The Responsibilities**:
Co-ordinating documents and information for the import and shipping process
Managing communications between customs agent, suppliers, and hauliers to obtain all required documentation in accordance
Chasing suppliers for outstanding information as and obtaining transport quotations
Checking commodity codes against templates and customs tariff for additional controls.
Assisting in maintaining spreadsheets and templates
Balancing invoices when required and scanning into relevant files Preferred Skills:
Administrative background within freight/shipping/import or export is preferable
Good attention to detail and accurate keyboard skills
Methodical and numerate
IT literate
Organised with good time management skills (Ability to work in a fast paced environment in order to meet clearance deadlines) Hours and Benefits:
8.00-5 Monday to Friday
After training, this role may be offered on a hybrid basis if required, although the preference of the employer would be office based.
Competitive Salary
24 days holiday, increasing to 27 days based on yearly service, plus bank holidays.
