Accounts Assistant

The company will offer you:

- A salary of between £25,000 - £30,000

You:

- Previous Accounts Assistant experience
- Previous Purchase Ledger experience
- Ideally, studying towards an accountancy qualification or keen to do so
- Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office. Good Excel knowledge is essential.

The role:

- Overseeing the purchase ledger
- Managing employee expense claims and company credit card expenses.
- Reconciling cash payments to all bank accounts.
- Posting cash payments to the ledger
- Setting up supplier payments on the bank
- Overseeing petty cash postings and reconciliations.
- Overseeing the aged debt collection process
- Assist the Financial Controller with month-end management accounts. This will include, but not be limited to, accruals/prepayments, Fixed Assets, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and journal postings to the ledger.

This is not your average account assistant position. You will need previous experience, however, the salary reflects this.
