**About The Role**

This is an exciting role for someone looking to join a delivery team building a large-scale fibre to the home business. Reporting to the MDU Build Manager, your key purpose will be to survey and plan cable routes both internally and externally as well as conforming to the various legislations. There is room for growth and development in this role in line with our ambitious growth strategy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Being the face of brsk and ensuring all aspects of the delivery are to the highest standard
- Attending sites to determine the best installation route for fibre optic network ducts and cables.
- Completing survey documentation job packs: cable pathways, drawings, address listings, bill of materials, confirmation pictures, construction plans and project timescales.
- Carrying out area surveys to ascertain whether any obstructions will prevent a successful installation.
- Find solutions to blockers, proactively suggesting alternatives with cost in mind
- Liaison with third parties working in conjunction with the group to meet client's needs.
- Liaise with the public and other 3rd parties such as private landlords
- Auditing and ensuring any defects are picked up prior to escalations
- Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met and be confident enough to challenge where required
- Understand the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual homes passed targets and deliver against these numbers consistently

Qualifications and Training.
- SA001 Safety Overhead
- SA002 Safety Underground
- S6 PIA Duct Surveying
- S11 FTTP for Surveyors
- Unit 2 Street Works

Experience Required
- Very Strong understanding of Fire Regulations for internal cabling
- Excellent Knowledge of the BT/OR PIA network, both UG and OH
- Fully conversant with the PIA product and requirements
- Ability to understand/design complex network plans
- Liaison with 3rd parties such as private landlords
- Good understanding of CDM 2015 Regulations
- Understanding of RAMS and CPHSP
- Strong understanding of NRSWA

Location
- Initially you will be surveying in Manchester, Lancashire, West Yorkshire and Midlands regions but this may change as we grow
- No office location so frequent travel between site, home and any other business locations around the UK
