**Temporary Clean Environment Operative - Environmental Services**

**Pay rate: £9.50 per hour PAYE** A Clean Environment Operative is required to carry out a variety of environmental cleaning operations including the manual removal of litter (litter-picking), fly tipping, fly posting and bulky waste clearance. Key responsibilities:

- Work on own or in a small team using manual or mechanical methods to clean all pathways, verges, roads, hedges and grassed areas, parks and other public open spaces of litter, dog fouling, fly tipping, fly posting, graffiti and other wastes.
- Carry out difficult waste removal duties including building and private property clearance.
- Maintain high levels of productivity.
- Adhere to all health and safety legislation, regulations and requirements including locally agreed procedures.
- Undertake, attend and pass any training/instruction required to competently carry out the duties of the role.
