- The Chiswick Cinema is an independent cinema in the heart of Chiswick and a first cinema-site for its owners, Trafalgar Entertainment. - ABOUT THIS ROLE
- With responsibility for general marketing, branding and partnership oversight across the operation of the cinema (and the vital membership programme) the postholder will drive membership sales, admissions from members and non-members, assist with and promote events, other activities and the food and beverage offer through a variety of methods and media. The person will construct the communications for Membership renewal and also implement training and other procedures around Membership in venue, as well take lead on weekly Membership and general communications.
- ABOUT YOU
- You’ll be a capable marketeer with some prior experience in the cinema, film or live entertainment sector.
- Professional, enthusiastic and energetic you’ll take a proactive and results-driven and creative approach to your work with an ability to turn your hand to the different aspects of what is a multi-faceted position.
- You’ll be resilient, engaging and a strong communicator at all levels (whether dealing with film creatives, cinema members, senior managers or sponsorship contacts).
- A real passion for and a significant interest in film is a pre-requisite, as is an outgoing and engaging approach to your work.

**The Responsibilities**:

- The Chiswick Cinema’s Marketing and Membership Executive will be responsible for the successful delivery of the Membership strategy for successful renewals, maintaining communications with Members as well as to hit our company sales budgets.

**Membership Communications and Sales**
- Drive the staff sales of Memberships through training and engagement.
- Have a plan to retain our current Members for renewals and acquire new Members for our Membership scheme.
- Develop and implement a membership growth strategy to acquire new members throughout the year to hit our budget targets.
- Plan and facilitate Member feedback and drop-in sessions to improve engagement and retention.
- Plan and execute clear communication to Members and non-Members about the weekly listings, exclusive events and more.
- Develop and execute special promotions and offers to Members regularly.
- Present results on a regular basis to line manager on the progress as well as plans for the future.
- Work with cinema team to train staff in bettering the customer journey.
- Ensure information on Membership offers are clear and accurate for staff and customers.
- Working with partners and suppliers to deliver exciting Member events.

**Marketing and Admin**
- Ad hoc cover for social media and other regular marketing activity in the absence of Marketing Manager.
- Other ad hoc projects as deemed necessary from time to time.

**Desirable Experience**:

- Experience in customer Service role
- Experience in a sales-focused role
- Experience in managing budgets.
- Knowledge of cinema and passion for film
- Knowledge of cinema management system (Vista)
- Knowledge of CRM system (Hubspot)
