Maintenance Operative

We've got an incredibly exciting, new opportunity for a Maintenance Operative to join our client based in Windermere, We provide an essential service to our homeowners; our managed service takes the stress away from letting out a holiday home, as we takecare of cleaning, maintenance, check in - you name it, we'll simplify the process and take the pressure away.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Maintenance Senior, You'll be responsible for delivering quality maintenance to our owners' homes

You'll be responsible for managing direct and 3rd party maintenance teams to deliver operational excellence at a local level.

**What you'll be doing**

We know it sounds a cliché, but this is a role where no two days are the same. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing 3rd party maintenance suppliers to deliver excellent operations to our owners and guests, ensuring a consistently high quality when it comes to general maintenance.
- Ensuring we have an appropriate supply of 3rd party technicians/specialists, for both present and future needs
- Ensuring all work you complete is within specified H&S procedures

**Key skills we need**
- Experience of managing and motivating contractors
- Adaptability and a passion for taking the initiative in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment
- Demonstrable experience of making decisions using data to drive change
- A creative approach to operational problem solving, with tangible examples
- The ability to prioritise and deliver a project from beginning to end, irrespective of external factors and pace
- Due to the nature of this role, a full, clean driving license is also essential, as you'll be expected to visit our homes and will need the ability to be present in the offices that you're responsible for on a regular basis

**Working hours and place**

This is a 35 hours a week position and will be based from our local office in Windermere with travels to our properties.
