We are currently working with a Hospital in London, NW1 within the Transport Division for an **ongoing Temporary** position**:Reception Administrator, 37.5hrs per week.**

**Job purpose of the Reception Administrator**:
The post holder, as a member of the Reception/transport team, has the responsibility for providing a high quality and comprehensive range of administrative and reception duties.

The post-holder will have responsibility for ensuring a high quality, efficient service and provide a courteous and professional reception service to all hospital visitors, patients and staff.

**Key responsibilities and duties of the Reception Administrator**:

- To meet, greet and register patients and book appointments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensuring the smooth running of the reception and deliver a customer focused efficient and empathetic service to all visitors.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and Data Protection.
- To validate patients Blue Badge eligibility to receive and issue Blue Badge Dispensation permits as appropriate.
- Out of hours, to liaise with the transport provider in order to assist in organising Non-emergency patient transport (NEPT) for eligible patients as and when required in accordance with Local and Trust Policy.

**Essential experience**:

- An Enhanced DBS in place, or willingness to be put through one immediately
- Experience working within a customer focused environment
- High level of Administration skills that are demonstrable
- Competent with software programmes such as: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint

**Salary and Hours of the ongoing temporary Reception Administrator role**:

- 37.5hrs per week
- Flexible shift patterns including: 07:00 - 16:00, 10:00 - 18:00, 11:30- 20:00 (30 mins break) may include weekend work if required.
- Pay rate: £11.85 per hour
