To lead on the administration of the London Spinal Cord Injury Centre's (LSCIC) Outreach Service and Community Liaison Service, assisting in both the Adult Referrals and the Children and Young Person’s referrals (CYP).

To provide an administrative service for the Spinal Outreach Multi-Disciplinary Team, the Community Liaison Team, the CYPs Team and the wider LSCIC MDT as required.

To add outreach notes to Note-on as required.

To promote an open and friendly working environment.

To keep accurate data on patients using the appropriate audits and data gathering, collating the information and presenting them demonstrating IT skills such as Excel, Power Point, Word etc.

To catalogue and organise all data collections including KPI data, waiting list data for all three services, to include visit logs for all team members.

To provide data on request to members of the wider MDT and external stakeholders for use in presentations and posters

To record patient information on the National SCI Database as appropriate

To manage the outpatient letters and monitor responses

To organise and lead the use of the E-roster and EProc systems for all team members with supervision from the Team Lead

To organise and record all of the teams expenses and submit to payroll on a monthly basis

To assist in the administration of external courses

This is an opportunity to work as a job share in a full-time role as the Spinal Outreach Coordinator. This role has become available due to the established person in post reducing hours.

You will be fundamental in ensuring the smooth running of the team. You will be supported by the LSCIC Outreach Lead and the Outreach Multi-Disciplinary Team clinicians.

This post is based in a busy and vibrant office with the clinicians that you will be coordinating.

To deal with queries and co-ordinate the day to day work of the Outreach & Community Liaison Teams.

To provide administrative services to the Community Liaison Team.

To provide administrative services to the CYP Team

To provide administrative services to the Spinal Outreach Team Lead.

To provide data as requested to support the LSCIC Outreach and Community Liaison Services, the wider LSCIC MDT and external stakeholders.

To communicate complex and sensitive information regarding patient care and communicating confidentially with a range of staff internally and externally as appropriate.

Collate clinical information and reports from referring hospitals to LSCIC, often from online documents or handwritten documents, or typed documents via telephone and ensuring that these are formatted in an accurate and professional manner.
