We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist to work within our Procurement Supply Chain division, as part of the IT & BPO Procurement Team, reporting into our Senior Procurement Manager. You will lead sourcing projects and support Procurement colleagues on strategic category wide plans. You will help develop category strategies through the analysis of data and the gathering of intelligence, bringing together supplier, competitor and industry knowledge, and working to identify and lead opportunities that deliver commercial benefit.

**What you'll be doing**:

- You will provide procurement support to projects and will lead on low complexity sourcing initiatives using best practice methodologies.
- You will support and facilitate the process of negotiating and compiling contractual documentation and provide advice regarding the financial sign off and purchase order process.
- Through the analysis of data and the gathering of market, competitor and industry intelligence you will support the construction of category plans.
- You will develop relationships with main partners through your procurement knowledge and will focus on building your own reputation and that of the procurement function.
- You will establish a network across relevant departments, influencing maximum take up of opportunities through the use of data analysis and market intelligence Systems.
- You will demonstrate optimum use of E-sourcing systems in all RFX activities and promote the use throughout Procurement and amongst stakeholder networks.
- You will be a single point of contact for support and use of E-sourcing systems daily and provide support to Sourcing events.
- You will ensure governance to all Procurement governance processes including the Strategic Sourcing Approach, and maintain full compliance to all contract governance activities within agreed DLG processes and timescales, ensuring all appropriate parties are consulted and informed.

**What you'll need**:
You will demonstrate sourcing experience; ideally a Sourcing Specialist who has shown an insight and understanding of business requirements on a 1-3 year horizon across the IT and Information Security Categories, although more importantly you'll be a team player, with experience in delivery.

You will be someone who has utilised excellent project management skills to lead complex sourcing exercises. You'll need to use your competitor and industry knowledge to inspire creativity and commercial value.

**Ways of Working**:
This role will be part of a team that is operating to a new flexible mixed working model, which will have a blend of working collaboratively from one of our hubs based at either our **London **or **Leeds **office and **working from home**.
