**Job purpose**:
To assist the CSD Manager (or designate) to achieve a safe and efficient parts storage area while maintaining the health and safety systems.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:
1. To assist the CSD Manager to support the delivery staff, and to implement excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

2. To ensure all company stock is correctly and safely stored as per manufacturers specifications.

3. Deliveries are check and stored in the correct location within the allocated time scales.

4. Picking, packing and dispatch of the Branch replenishment packs.

5. Picking and dispatch of the Branch special order requirement within the agreed timing.

6. To ensure all returns from Branches are checked and returned to shelf stock in an efficient manner.

7. To ensure all returns to suppliers (inc old unit returns) are dealt with in an efficient manner and in line with company procedures.

8. To ensure all paperwork pertaining to company stock is checked and processed in line with company procedures.

9. To ensure regular stock takes are carried out in line with company procedures and all anomalies reported to the Branch Manager / CSD Manager.

10. To complete on time Suppliers stock cleanses as instructed by Head Office.

11. To assist the Branch manager to manage the upkeep and condition of all equipment, fixtures and fleet of the individual business unit.

12. Liaise with external agencies and authorities as necessary (recruitment, training, fire services, police, local council, health, and safety inspectors) in the absence of the Branch Manager.

13. To assist the Branch manager to manage, health and safety systems, and ensure staff awareness, according to company policy and relevant law.
