We Care Living Limited is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Mental Health Support Workers for Support Living care in Southport, Merseyside. As a support worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals experiencing mental health challenges to lead fulfilling lives and achieve their goals.

**Schedule**:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals experiencing mental health issues.

2. Assist individuals in developing coping skills and strategies to manage their symptoms effectively.

3. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to create personalized care plans tailored to the needs of each individual.

4. Facilitate group activities and workshops aimed at promoting mental well-being and social inclusion.

5. Monitor and document individuals' progress, behaviors, and any changes in their condition.

6. Advocate for individuals' rights and ensure they have access to appropriate resources and services.

7. Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management, as needed.

8. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for individuals, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
- Previous experience working in a mental health setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and the ability to establish rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing needs and situations.
- Basic knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.

**Salary**: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
