**Salary**: £27,050 - £30,500  
Earnings: £32,225 - £35,675 (based on 10 sleep ins per month)
Hours: 40.5 per week    
Shift Pattern: one shift on, two shifts off - rolling rota

Essential criteria: Minimum 12 months experience working in Residential Childcare + driving licence

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Residential Support Worker for one of our clients who have a children's homes in Hinckley.

The home is an Ofsted rated OUTSTANDING, 4 bedded ASD service, with support from the companies own therapy team. Our psychologists work closely with young people and staff following an embedded therapy model to provide consistency in the care to the young people who reside here.  There is also a school on-site (Ofsted rated Good) that supports the Education of the young people that reside at the home.

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be working shifts to care for the young people who reside in the home, nurturing and supporting their development following a therapeutic model of care. As a senior, you will take a lead on shifts and support another member of staff.

No two days will be the same supporting young people to achieve their very best. You will have a varied array of tasks whilst on shift; everything from cooking & cleaning, taking part in activities and games, taking Young People out to appointments/meetings, or even sitting and watching TV with the Young People.

We aim to create a positive, relaxed home environment where the young people feel safe, supported & listened to. You will be inducted by our industry leading, award winning learning & development team, and guided in your role by more senior staff members, including psychologists/therapy team to establish appropriate boundaries, manage behaviours effectively and nurture the young people in your care towards positive futures.

**Experience**:

- Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
