To deliver an effective and competent level of administrative support to the Associate Director of Nursing and Corporate Nursing Team To work unsupervised and on own initiative, with a flexible/adaptable approach, ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales, to a high standard, and ensuring a timely response to requests for information or support. To effectively communicate with staff at all levels of the Trust, partner agencies, corporate organisations and members of the public, demonstrating the Trust values. To deal with routine enquiries from staff or members of the public in a pleasant and helpful manner, using tact, and accurately communicating relevant information. To undertake general office duties such as the taking of minutes and the typing of minutes/reports/letters, filing, answering telephones, photocopying / scanning.

To be responsible for sorting of incoming post, date stamping and bringing to the attention of the Programme Manager anything of a serious or urgent nature. To establish, document and review team working processes to maximise communication efficiency amongst the corporate nursing team To coordinate the electronic diaries of the Programme Manager and others if necessary organising and scheduling meetings/appointments and making travel arrangements. To select, retrieve and collate papers and information for meetings, committees, enquiries for the Corporate Nursing Team / Corporate NMAHP team in an orderly and timely manner. To establish and co-ordinate events on behalf of the Corporate Nursing Team / Corporate NMAHP team.

Promote and practically support the social media activities of the corporate nursing team. To develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases as required, accurately inputting and retrieving data, transferring data and information into templates and presentations. To be responsible for responding to ad-hoc data requests for information held in Datix for example and other databases To develop and maintain efficient electronic and manual filing systems, and ensure that computer files are maintained in line with departmental processes. To maintain a suitable office and working environment for team members, including filing and archiving documents, keeping stationery supplies ordered and accessible, distributing internal post, and requesting assistance from Cornwall IT Services, Estates or Hotel Services if required.

To request patient case notes and tracer them on to PAS as required: identify location, negotiate access to notes and respond to requests from other departments. To carry out other appropriate delegated duties as required.
