This role will be based at **Imperial - St Charles Renal Unit** where you will be responsible for delivering a safe, caring, and efficient service to all renal patients being transported within the NHS and make a genuine difference every time you go to work. As a Renal Coordinator you will work closely with our Dispatch teams to ensure our patients are made to feel comfortable and are efficiently transported to and from their appointments. You will also liaise with the hospital teams to ensure that we are delivering the best level of care for our patients. This role is focused on building relationship with our patients and so would suit someone who bring lots of passion and energy whilst remaining calm under pressure both in person and over the phone.

We are looking for individuals who have a caring personality, a positive attitude and are passionate about working within their community to join as a **Renal Coordinator**.

**Key Responsibilities & Duties**
- Complete daily confirmation of AM/PM patient booked-ready times within 30 minutes of patients going on the machine and update system as appropriate.
- Provide liaison point to seek clarity with renal unit for any patients who did not travel and agree approach for future bookings.
- Check with the unit for any training requirements on web bookings for new staff
- Conduct a weekly review with the units to confirm patient pathways, times, mobility’s etc
- Review of any new patients for transport

**Person Specification**
- Experience within a patient, public or customer facing role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Computer literate with great organisational skills
- Strong work ethic and the willingness to go the extra mile to deliver patient care
- Must be willing to complete and pass ACA assessment if successful.
- Must be prepared to travel to other sites

**Salary**: £11.05 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- providing care: 1 year (preferred)
