Refuge Worker

Caritas Futures are supporting a well-known national domestic abuse Charity with Refuge Worker roles

These specialist support worker roles would suit applicants who have worked in a similar post previously however transferable skills will also be considered.

**Experience**:

- Paid experience working with women fleeing domestic and/or sexual violence
- Working with high-risk clients
- Risk and needs assessment's
- Support and safety plans
- Multi agency work
- Advocating on client's behalf
- Experience of working with clients from varying needs; substance misuse, mental health, domestic violence etc

Due to the nature of the work the following are essential:

- Female applicants only
- Current DBS within 12 months (although one can be carried out on your behalf)
- On site working to best support clients
